Hello, I’m Dr. Magriet Du Plooy, and I’m passionate about caring for children and adolescents, from newborns to young adults up to 18 years of age. I understand that every child is unique, and I’m dedicated to offering personalized, compassionate care to support their growth and well-being. My approach goes beyond general paediatric care, focusing on building lasting relationships with both children and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes.
I have a special interest in helping children with neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders. Whether it’s diagnosing and managing ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder, addressing learning difficulties, or supporting children with anxiety or depression, I’m here to walk alongside you and your child on this journey. I also offer guidance on behavioural challenges and sensory processing issues, always aiming to create a supportive environment that fosters understanding and positive change.
In addition, I provide care for common childhood conditions such as sleep disorders, gastrointestinal issues, asthma, allergies, and more. For infants and toddlers, I offer practical advice and treatment for feeding difficulties, ensuring that even the smallest members of your family get the care they need to thrive.
I truly believe in partnering with parents and healthcare providers to develop the best possible care plans for each child, using a blend of medical, behavioral, and functional approaches. Together, we can navigate the challenges, celebrate the milestones, and ensure your child has a healthy, happy future.
